Amazing experience at Anjappar. The food was high quality and delicious. Suga was also super friendly and helpful. Staff were also very friendly and quick. When comparing it to other restaurants like Udupi, their service is definitely top notch. Definitely recommended!! 10/10.

Amazing Chettinad food!!! Never had such a tasty food in either Canada or USA. Service was great, and they have a weekly special display plate for us to peek. Bun parotta 5 Natukozhi chicken 5 Chicken Biriyani 5 Mutton Sukka 5 Nandu rasam 5 Best food experience

We just stopped by here on our way to MI and glad we did stop here. We ordered crab fry, bun parotta, naatu kozhi biryani and pomfret fry. All the items were finger licking good and I am not easy to be pleased. So, it’s safe to say that it’s authentic Tamil non vegetarian food.

A hidden gem! This underrated classic serves up excellent dosas and more. The paper dosa was impressively long, perfectly crisp, and absolutely delicious. Friendly, attentive service made the experience even better.

We visited Anjappar Restaurant in Mississauga today (20-04-2025) for a family lunch, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The South Indian vegetarian thali was absolutely delightful—flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. The chicken lollipop was perfectly seasoned and crispy, while the kal dosa was soft and paired wonderfully with the chutneys. The mutton bone soup was rich and full of flavor, a real comfort dish. Their South Indian-style chicken biryani stood out with its perfect spice level and tender chicken pieces. To finish, the vattalappam dessert was the perfect sweet touch—smooth, aromatic, and truly delicious. The ambience was warm and welcoming—arguably better than even Saravanaa Bhavan. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Sudha and Prabjoth. A special thanks to Sudha for her attentiveness and excellent service—she made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire meal. Ample car parking as well. A must-visit restaurant in Mississauga for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors and warm hospitality!
